Cleaning the Exterior

Step 1: Wipe

Use a mild wet wipes to give the vegan leather exterior a good wipe over.

Note:
Do not use Dettol wet wipes or wet wipes with very strong alcohol content as that will destroy the leather.

If there are stains, damp the white cloth with gentle soap and water to spot clean the stains. Be sure to wring off excess water from the cloth each time.

Note:
Remember you just want to use a damp cloth to spot clean the stains. Do not use excessive water to wet the box.

Step 2: Dry

Use a lint-free cloth or microfibre cloth to thoroughly wipe away any liquid or soapy residue on the exterior.

Very important:
Ensure that the box is
completely wiped dry to prevent mould from growing on damp surfaces.

Tip:
Keep the box away from direct sunlight to prevent the leather from cracking.

Cleaning the Interior

Step 1: Remove

Use a lint roller or wrap a sticky tape around your finger to remove any dust, lint, or small particles in your jewellery layer.

Step 2: Clean

Dip an old toothbrush into warm (gentle) soapy water. Rub the brush gently into the velvet fabric to remove any stains.

Step 3: Dry

Dab at the velvet with a clean, soft cloth to absorb the water and dry the fabric. Allow the fabric to completely air dry before putting your jewellery back in. You can use this waiting time to clean your jewellery.
